QuikFire Electrical designs, installs and services fire protection systems across Perth as an FPA member: fire indicator panels, smoke alarm systems, EWIS emergency warning systems and VESDA very-early smoke detection. Systems are tested on the required schedule, typically six-monthly, with written compliance reports for building owners, strata and facility managers.

What does fire protection actually involve?
Detection (alarms, VESDA), warning and evacuation (EWIS, panels), suppression equipment, and the testing that keeps it all certified. We cover the electrical side end to end, and service the systems on schedule.
What is a VESDA system?
Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus: it continuously samples the air and detects smoke at the earliest stage, well before a standard alarm. It’s the go-to for server rooms, warehouses and high-value spaces.
What is an EWIS system?
An Emergency Warning and Intercommunication System: the building-wide warning tones, voice announcements and warden intercoms that manage a safe evacuation in larger buildings.
How often must fire systems be tested?
Most systems are tested at six-monthly intervals, with some checks monthly and a more thorough annual inspection, depending on the system and standard. We put your site on the right schedule and keep the records.
Who’s responsible for compliance in a commercial building?
The building owner or their agent (often strata or a facility manager). If that’s you, the practical answer is: have a servicing schedule and reports on file. We provide both.
Can you take over an existing system?
Yes. We audit what’s installed, flag any compliance gaps, and pick up the servicing schedule from there.
