How long do LED lights last?
Quality LEDs run 25,000 to 50,000 hours. At normal home use that's well over a decade, which is why replacements and maintenance drop away after an upgrade.
How much power do LEDs actually save?
Up to 80% compared with halogen or incandescent fittings, for the same or better brightness. On a house full of halogen downlights the difference shows up on the next bill.
Can you replace halogen downlights with LED?
Yes, it's our most common job. Most swaps reuse the existing cutout, so the install is quick and the ceiling stays tidy.
Do LEDs work outdoors?
Absolutely. Weather-rated LED flood, garden and pathway lighting is durable, efficient, and ideal for security and outdoor living areas.
Warm white or cool white?
Warm white suits living areas and bedrooms; cool white suits kitchens, bathrooms and workspaces. We'll help you pick per room, and many fittings now switch between both.
Can I supply my own fittings?
Yes. We'll happily install fittings you've bought, and we'll tell you upfront if a fitting isn't rated for the job so you're not stuck with a dud.
